Ok, I decided that I needed to revamp my aPAULing series since I have looked back at the awful artwork that I used to submit.
So yeah, here's the new cover of the 2nd comic in the series, called 'The Little Merbloke' which is basically a parody of Disney's little known (tsk) mermaid film.
I redesigned Paul to more resemble the style of said Disney film, and changed the colour of his tail to green to match Ariel's. I kept his blonde hair however, as without that he wouldn't be Paul. Sigh.
Jake's been changed too, he looks much more like Eric now, though is still not a clone.
I hope y'all like this piece, if you do, let me know, and if I get enough reaction to it I may get my arse in gear and start re-writing the original story. Yeah. Don't hold your breath though.
Oh yeah, this cover is inspired muchly by the original 1989 Mermaid poster/cover for the VHS. Love it. Enjoy.
